Past Events

In this section, are indicated several activities in which the Nuclear and Technological Campus was/are involved each year:

Day of Opened Doors

CTN promotes, in contribution with the "Ciência Viva", one "Day of Opened Doors", in the national day of the Scientific Culture. In this day, the external visitors have chance to know the activities done in the Institute and to contact with the researchers in its working place.

Day of the Scientific Culture (23-28th November)

"À Descoberta das Radiações" ("Discovering Radiations") is the name of the project of scientific education on the subject of the radiations, that the Campus has come to develop since 1999 in partnership with schools of secondary education. In this scope, an researcher of the IST/ITN is dislocated to every school that intend to carry demonstrations and debates on this subject.

• RPI: 40th Years (only in Portuguese).

Jobshops

CTN participated in three of these initiatives, whose main goal consisted of the presentation of its research activities to school pupils and graduated students,  in order to recruit and introduce them to scientific work.
