Training Courses

The Technological and Nuclear Campus organizes, in the scope of its normal activities, training courses both for its personnel and for external participants, and also collaborates with other external entities, namely:

Internal Courses with/without Outside Financing

• Reactor Operators
• Specialized Technicians of Laboratory
• Security and Radiological Protection

Courses by External Request

• Nuclear Instrumentation (equipment manipulation that uses radioactive sources and radiological protection)

In Collaboration with Universities

• Graduation, master and doctoral degrees (fellowships)

In Collaboration with Schools ("Ciência-Viva" programmes)

• To introduce school pupils to scientific work, during Summer holiday;
• Specialized laboratory training for school teachers during Summer holiday;

This collaboration sets the opportunity to:

• Deal both with the university and scientific communities;
• Undertake scientific work within a specialized research team;
• Know new students of different schools and country states;
• Prepare and help pupils to choose a future career.
