Introduction: IE Users
If your information bar is showing an Active
Content Alert it is due to our navigation menu & features
which are controlled by Java Script. The newest versions of IE
block these automatically. This will slow down your ability to
navigate the site.
You may have seen a pop up box that reads: "Did you notice the information bar?" or your information bar may show a shield & read: "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options.
Please be advised that "http://www.itn.pt" does not use "cookies" or collect any information from your browser. The only Java Scripts used on this site are for navigation & feature purposes.
If you "click for options and say ok", this will enable the drop down menu which allows you to navigate the site more quickly. If you do not turn the IE Blocking off you will still be able to navigate using the less detailed navigation links found on each page.
Note that the Java applet is only enabled for this Internet Explorer window. If you close this window and come back again you will have to go through the same process again. However, all further active content in this window is enabled.
