The Decree-Law n.º 29/2012 of February 9th, that proceed to the integration of the Instituto Tecnológico e Nuclear, I. P., ensuring the transfer of its mission, its tasks and powers, as well as the integration of its personnel and assets at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), entered into force on 1 March.Pursuant the line o) of nº 4. Artº 13 from February 17th 2014, the President of IST, Professor Arlindo Manuel Limede de Oliveira, appointed Dr. José Joaquim Gonçalves Marques as the Vice-President of the Campus Tecnológico e Nuclear, who will be responsible for the daily management of the Polo of Loures.
On 3rd January 2024, Dr. Susana Marta Almeida took office as the new Vice-President of the Campus Tecnológico e Nuclear integrating also the Governing Board of the new/re-elected President of Técnico, for a 4-year mandate 2024-2027, professor Rogério Cordeiro Colaço.
