Magnetism in Portugal 2024 – School of Metrology in Magnetism
This event will be held in the Lisbon area, at Bobadela, Portugal, and is organised by Campus Tecnológico e Nuclear, Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. This year our aim is to offer to students, young researchers, and a broader representation of scientists and stakeholders, the opportunity to know the state-of-the-art and the measurement challenges in a broad variety of topics related with magnetism, while interacting with active research groups from different Portuguese institutions. With the aim of encouraging discussion and communication, participants will have the opportunity to present their research results as a poster presentation.

7th Edition of the Master in Radiological Protection and Safety (MPSR) at IST
The 7th edition of the Masters in Radiological Protection and Safety (MPSR) at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) will start next September. This Master's Degree, unique in Portugal, responds to the Education and Training needs of professionals involved in the use of ionizing radiation in the sectors of Health, Industry, Environment, Research, Services, Safety and Energy. The MPSR aims to provide future masters with a comprehensive and integrated view of different scientific, technological, technical, socioeconomic, ethical, legal, regulation and legislation topics in Radiological Protection and Safety. Detailed information about the MPSR (recipients and requirements, study plan and curriculum structure, professional opportunities, etc.) is available here (or at fenix).

The MPSR will be taught by a team of renowned professors, researchers and specialists and has the support of various entities, institutions and companies from the aforementioned sectors.
